It’s another crazy weekend in Spring, Boulder!
The 15th Street Design District is having its annual Block Party! Come to 15th Street between Grove and Canyon, walk around the pedestrian- and kid-friendly areas and see what a design studio looks like! Food carts, design displays, face painting, live music, and more will line the street on Friday, for a fun event for the whole family to enjoy.
Do you miss your horse-race-related partying from the Kentucky Derby the other week? Not to fear: this weekend is the second of the Triple Crown races: the Preakness Stakes, and parties will pop up around Boulder for that. Maybe the hats will be a little less spectacular, but the mint juleps made from Woodford Reserve over at West End Tavern will be just as tasty, and Twisted Pine will continue their party (and drink special) series for the Triple Crown, too.
Speaking of beer, this weekend is the end of American Craft Beer Week, and many of our excellent breweries are celebrating, tapping new brews, offering specials, and much, much more (way too much to condense into this little article, actually). Ask your favorite brewery what’s happening with them for the end of American Craft Beer week.
Shine is hosting the Blue Moon Team Hope walk, where they will light the night blue and glowing, to benefit Huntington’s Disease. This fundraiser will benefit the Rocky Mountain chapter of HDSA, so don your blue and/or glowing digs, meet up at Shine for the walk down Pearl Street, then back to Shine for prizes and more.
Don’t forget about the Passport program: One teensy fee and you get twoferones on drinks all over Boulder (seriously, it really is all over–so very many good places to take advantage of)! Make your summer happy hours super happy with the 2017 Boulder Passport, which starts in one short week, so buy yours today! Don’t delay!
Have a fantastic weekend, Boulder!
