Not going to lie — it was a bit surreal to type 2017! And of course, we’re celebrating the new year with snow. By the looks of things, though, it’ll be melted away by Sunday. That means it’s time for some Boulder-style winter fun, no?!
Our friends at Front Range Anglers will be representing Boulder at the Fly Fishing Show down at the Denver Merchandise Mart, so go down there and say hello, and see what’s new in world of fly fishing.
The huge variety of live music regularly all over Boulder’s weekends is back in full swing, from jazz at Caffe Sole and St. Julien, to the huge variety of acts up at Laughing Goat, to the varying jam sessions at Conor O’Neill’s and Oskar Blues, and even Lazy Dog is back with its concert series. So much to choose from, where do you even start?
And don’t forget–the Bohemian Biergarten has what’s been voted as one of the best comedy nights in Colorado here in our very own Pearl Street area, every single Sunday night. They even hosted one last weekend (whoops, sorry for omitting that–my bad), but this weekend they’re ready to continue to greet the brand new year as they normally do, with tame comedy at 7, naughty at 9.
Happy weekending, everyone!
