Maybe sidling up to a bar to throw back beers and cocktails isn’t your speed.
You’re more of the tea-and-kombucha tribe. A yoga devotee. Someone devoted to a lifestyle of conscious living.
Boulder’s a national epicenter for conscious living events, so you’re going to feel quite at home here!
The Boulder and Front Range areas are ripe with numerous conscious living lifestyle events. The goal isn’t to run out and get hammered. The goal is for people of similar mindsets to connect on their terms and in environments that feed their passions. From singing bowl parties to drum circles and all-night yoga-a-thons, enthusiasts for this lifestyle always have a fresh event ready and waiting.
But where can you find these conscious living events so you can begin to fill up your calendar? We’ve created a list of resources that you can explore to get your…whatever on, whichever night of the week you might find something happening.
Conscious Tribe: This is a site (currently in beta) that collects conscious living events from across the Front Range and Texas communities. They have a robust events page as well (you might want to bookmark this one). Here, you can join their community and find the newest events in the conscious living community across the Colorado area.
Shine: This is a bar, restaurant, and gathering place in downtown Boulder, just off the Pearl Street Mall on 13th Street. They always offer a jam–packed calendar for those in hot pursuit of the conscious living lifestyle. You’ll find concerts, drum circles, and workshops nearly every day of the week. It’s a great place to connect with those who are like-minded in the Boulder community.
Anna’s List: What started as a Yahoo group has grown into its own online community. In their forums, you can find everything from events of all sorts to workshops and people offering and seeking referrals to others in the conscious living community. While events aren’t limited to conscious living, there’s plenty dedicated to the lifestyle on the site to choose from.
Psychic Horizons Center: For those following a path of intuitive learning and spiritual healing, you’ll definitely want to check out Boulder’s most well-known psychic school and healing center. They offer classes of a wide variety, including a self-healing class and year-long clairvoyance program. Also on the schedule are several weekend workshops, free healing clinics and other spiritual learning events.
For additional conscious living resources and evening events of the non-frat party kind, check out the many yoga centers in the area. Most have event schedules and workshops and you’ll be able to find events that feed your need to escape the house and let you skip the next day’s hangover!
