Ember Salon

We are a boutique hair salon and high-end barbershop located in the heart of Downtown Boulder next to the Boulderado Hotel. Our salon started out as The Ember Hairstream, which is Colorado's First mobile hair salon specializing in weddings. 

The Ember Hairstream is a renovated 1977 vintage Airstream. Large enough to accommodate bridal parties and give a luxury salon experience wherever we may be, throughout Colorado. We do everything from off the grid mountain weddings to 5-star wedding venues. The Ember Hairstream was so well received within the wedding and salon industries, one short year later, we opened Ember Salon.

You can truly feel the love our team members have for their jobs when you walk into the salon. Ember Beauty and Barbering in Boulder specializes in balayage color, hair extensions, and weddings. We believe in continued education in the salon industry, as well as self-development and leadership courses for personal and professional growth.

With a passion for hair extensions we are also the only salon nation-wide to actually make our own hair extensions. We source the hair from Italy and use tools that have been passed down to us from extension makers in the the UK. We literally hand-tie, knot and sew the hair to completely match our clients hair. A truly unique skill that is not done anywhere else! 

We are a new-is salon with 20 years combined experience. We offer premium and luxury services. From full make-overs, to special events and standard touch-ups, we will customize your service. We can't wait to meet you!
