I am a personal trainer and Pilates instructor who "walks her talk" with regard to diet, exercise and an active lifestyle. I am an alpine and telemark skier, rock climber, mountain biker and long-distance cycler. I believe strongly in the positive psychological benefits of exercise - for those who are healthy as well as those recovering from injury or the debilitating effects of chronic disease such as pain and fatigue. I work with clients whose goals range from rehabilitating from serious illness or injury, to a desire to tone up and keep fit, to preparing for physical challenges such as an upcoming ski season, biking events, marathons, and triathlons. I specialize in individualized conditioning to improve physical fitness and balance. I employ multiple techniques to increase my clients' confidence, agility, strength, and well-being.
