I was an attorney in my 20s living in Chicago. On the surface, I looked like I had good skin but it was really because I was using makeup to cover up my blemishes and acne scars. Not once in my 20s would I have gone out in public without foundation on. I could've saved myself a lot of time + grief if someone had properly educated me about the role that my everyday habits played in my skin issues:

1. Disinfect your face after working out (and sweating),
2. Use a bluetooth so you're not rubbing a dirty cell phone screen against your cheek,
3. Use a face oil to shield your skin from city pollution.

In 2015, I opened the first Clean Your Dirty Face® facial bar where the products used in our facials are clean + non-toxic, and licensed estheticians empower clients through education. I formulated our skincare line with our estheticians and direct client feedback from over 50,000 facials. My goal is to make routine skincare clean, credible and effective.
