As a 4th generation Boulder native and CU Alumni, Attorney Bruce Sarbaugh is proud to have served the front range with quality legal representation since 1992. Bruce has litigated hundreds of criminal and DUI cases, and has over 25 years of trial experience with an emphasis in defending DUI cases, as well as misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, and college student defense.

Bruce is one of only a handful of DUI defense attorneys to win a felony DUI jury trial, and the only private defense attorney in Boulder that works directly with the University of Colorado.

It is important to retain legal counsel that is experienced, educated, and highly skilled in the specific defense of the crime with which you have been charged. Bruce has been trained in the proper administration and interpretation of the DUI Standard Field Sobriety Tests (“roadside tests”), the mechanics and scientific principles involved in breath testing by the Intoxliyzer, as well as the blood testing process through the Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer analysis. In addition, Bruce has completed an intensive mediation training focusing on negotiation skills and effective persuasive argument logic which he uses in negotiating plea agreements with the District Attorney.
