August 30th we kicked off our Youth Program for the 20-21 year! We are inviting newcomers ongoing this Fall to come by Unity of Boulder at 11am on Sundays and see what it’s all about.
Our Youth & Teen Program is here to nurture our youth in a safe, fun environment at no cost to participate. We provide settings in which the principles of Practical Spirituality, are brought into interaction with life situations through experiential, synergetic learning experiences applicable to daily life. Our goal is to provide opportunities for our youth to express the spiritually abundant life as taught and demonstrated by many enlightened people from different parts of the world.
OUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Provide a weekly opportunity to explore a concept in Truth.
Provide an environment of security and safety for the sharing and exploration of feelings.
Create an atmosphere of total acceptance to help young people establish their own identity, self-worth and confidence, and a feeling of “belonging.”
Help young people explore and seek a set of values FOR THEMSELVES.
Help students define THEIR OWN purpose for living and develop a method of finding answers to life’s complexities.
Help students develop a sense of interdependence through working together in a supportive, non-critical environment.
Introduce new ways of communicating with self and others based on the principles of affirmation, denials and beholding the Divine Nature in all people and situations.
Expose the teens to their own personal power through creative self-expression and service activities.
Introduce the teens to service projects for those community members in need of our support & love.
Our groups are 10 people or less and a great way to give our teens an opportunity to hang out in a caring environment that is looking out for them.
Peace Be With You.
(All gathering spaces are sanitized with Ultraviolet Lighting used in hospitals and professionally cleaned twice a week. Group members are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing guidelines.)
