Adrian Bejan: Mechanical Engineering Strategic Advisory Board (MESAB) Distinguished Achievement Award & Lecture

Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering as we celebrate the inaugural presentation of the University of Colorado Boulder Mechanical Engineering Strategic Advisory Board (MESAB) Distinguished Achievement Award! The afternoon will include the formal presentation of the inaugural MESAB Distinguished Achievement Award, followed by a distinguished seminar from internationally recognized engineer and educator Dr. Adrian Bejan. The event is open to all faculty, staff, students, alumni and industry partners. Bejan, a distinguished professor at Duke University's Thomas Lord Department of mMechanical Engineering and Materials Science, is a world-renowned engineer and physicist whose research spans thermodynamics, heat transfer, convection, design, and evolution in nature. He is the recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Medal (2018) and the Humboldt Research Award (2019) and ranks among the top 0.01% of the world's most cited scientists.
