CU Restorative Justice Volunteer and Facilitator Training

Participants will engage in a half-day (5-hour) training covering the fundamentals of the CU Restorative Justice (CURJ) program. The training prepares participants to serve as CURJ community representative volunteers and build confidence in restorative justice practices. These volunteers support students through accountability, harm repair and relationship building while representing community voices and needs. For those interested in deepening their practice, this training also serves as the first step in the CURJ Facilitator program, a 30-hour training designed to develop restorative justice facilitation skills, expand knowledge of restorative practices and connect participants with the broader restorative justice community. Participants gain hands-on facilitation experience with support from a cohort of trainees and professional staff.
