6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join Native and Indigenous student organizations Oyate, AISES, and Umas y Mecha for a special one-time Indigenous dance workshop honoring Native Boarding School survivors. In recognition of the Day of Remembrance, participants are invited to celebrate the strength and enduring cultural traditions of Indigenous communities through movement, learning, and community. Experience the energy and significance of powwow dance as you learn one of the many traditional dance styles in a welcoming, interactive environment. Whether you are new to powwow culture or looking to deepen your connection, this event offers an opportunity to honor Indigenous perseverance while celebrating culture, community, and remembrance.
