Physics PhD Centenary Celebration

RSVP Today! Join the CU Boulder Department of Physics as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the very first PhD awarded in 1926! We will celebrate with science and history lectures, as well as lab tours! Attend a full schedule of lectures and lab tours throughout the day. Hear talks on the history of CU Physics, current research, and hear from some of our faculty and alumni entrepreneurs! The day will conclude with a panel celebrating our Nobel Laureates at CU, featuring Eric Cornell, Carl Wieman, Jan Hall and David Wineland.
