When you and the family have left brunch this Sunday, you’ll need a place for the food to settle.
Why not pop over to The Boulder Ballet for a special Mother’s Day performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream?
It’s sure to be a gorgeous cultural experience, an ideal mother-daughter outing, and ballet performances run the perfect length of time for that french toast or Eggs Benedict feast to settle.
This Mother’s Day, Boulder families can enjoy two performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Performances begin at 11:00AM and 2:00PM, offering ideal times for those who prefer to brunch late or early.
Tickets are only $15 to $30 ($30 for reserved seating, $22 for general admission, and $15 for seniors and students). The performances take place at The Boulder Theater in the heart of downtown Boulder, making the ballet an ideal pre- or post-brunch destination with mom.
Now, if this is your first time hearing that Boulder has a ballet company — p’shaw! The company’s been around since 1983-1984. Each year, they perform at Macky Auditorium over on the CU campus, the Boulder Theater, and the Dairy Center for the Arts. The company even tours across the United States. If you’re interested in learning about the season’s upcoming performances, they have performances listed through June on their website.
And now — you have one more thing to consider for mom’s special day this year. If she’s a lover of culture, maybe grab a few tickets and create a special family outing. You can purchase tickets for Sunday’s performances on the Boulder Theater website.
