When’s the last time you saw 12 pianos on stage at once — and being played all at once?
Well, the bad news is — it hasn’t been recently enough. The good news is that you can fix that this Saturday, and not have to drive too far at all!
The Boulder Area Music Teachers Association presents the 29th Annual Multiple Piano Festival. Whatever your musical tastes, you get a twinkling of the keys to the effect. They promise everything from boogies to classics and holiday favorites. As an added twist, each piano will have a duet team at each, so prep yourself for some flying fingers and amazing music. Events from previous years have had over 250 participants enduring weeks of rehearsal to delight local audiences. We’re sure this year will be no different!
The show will be held at the Vance Brand Auditorium at Skyline High School (600 E. Mountain View Ave. in Longmont) and begins at 7PM this Saturday, November 22. Tickets are a mere $10 and can only be purchased at the door.
