Organic India and its Boulder Roots

Organic India USA headquarters in Boulder, CO

Organic India, the international tea and wellness giant, has been dedicated to organic farming and sustainable development since they opened their doors in 2002. It should come as no surprise to hear that their American headquarters and distribution center is located right here in Boulder, Colorado.

On top of being one of the happiest and healthiest places to live, Boulder is known for its commitment to organic local farming, sustainable development, and green focused initiatives. This is why Boulder is the perfect place for Organic India USA’s American headquarters.

Organic India actively promotes sustainable agriculture practices and fair trade principles to all of their farmers. They even go as far as to pay for the organic certifications of their farmers and provide all of the training necessary to ensure their farmers have the skills necessary to provide a living for their families.

Local History & Involvement

Organic India’s journey to Boulder started with former Organic India board member and Boulder native, Jack Ruane. In the early years, the board wanted to involve Jack Ruane in Organic India’s development. This is how Boulder became a natural fit for their U.S. distribution center when the company was expanding to America.

So by 2006, Organic India USA had finished moving their main offices to Boulder. The wellness partnership between Boulder and Organic India has proven to be an excellent example of corporate investment and community involvement.

Organic India’s international name and size doesn’t keep it from being active locally. In fact, Organic India donates financially to Boulder charities and organizations including its sponsorship of the GS Boulder Cycling Team. They attend trade shows and participate in webinars with New Hope 360, a local Boulder wellness media company that holds events across the United States. As Organic India’s name grows in Colorado, so does the demand for their natural menu.
