As an admitted outdoor fiend, the name Steph Davis is a colloquialism to me. For those who aren’t my level of Boulder Fitness Achievement: Unlocked, let me give you a primer on Steph.
She’s a badass.
And not only is she a complete badass, she’s talented, humble, and one of the outdoor industry’s leading advocates.
Her new book, Learning to Fly, is a personal memoir that journals her transition from professional rock climbing into skydiving and BASE jumping. It’s been likened to a Eat,Pray, Love-style awakening, but if I know Steph, it’s a lot more raw and ripe with unpretty admissions and lessons we can all learn from (without having to trek to India, Italy, and Bali).
If you’ve ever wanted to jump, but are afraid…
If you’re looking for a female role model for your getting-older-every-day daughter…
Or if you just want to spend an hour being amazed by a woman who doesn’t much take to the word “no”…
This event at Boulder Book Store with Steph Davis deserves to be on your calendar.

This is a voucher event — $5 to attend and that $5 can be used towards the purchase of Steph’s book.
