Your work day is coming to a close. What you really want is to hit up one of Boulder’s many happy hours and kick back a few with your selected Boulder pals. The only problem is…you didn’t hit the gym this morning. Or the bike on the trainer stand in your living room. Or the trails. You opted for Blanket Cave, that lovely, down-filled pile of bliss you woke up in this morning, your hand hitting “snooze” as your iPhone started blaring at you that it was, indeed, time to get up.
How about we (A) fix the workout, and (B) still get you to a proper drinking event this evening? There should never be a penalty for taking a Blanket Fort kind of morning every now and again!
First, you can start out at Impact Hub Boulder’s Healthy Happy Hour. From 6:30-8:30PM this eve, you can indulge in a fitness bootcamp (completely free) sponsored by Naked (juice, y’all) and Flavorpill. All you have to do is register right here.
Then, you can head home, change clothes into your good fleece, and head on over to TacoRita Wednesday at the Mountain Sun on Pearl Street. Starting at 10PM, you can grab a few $1 each vegetarian or chicken tacos (or some of each for the omnivores) along with a $5 margarita (or two).
Happy Hour? CHECK.
Now, don’t say we never gave you anything. This combination not only validates that Blanket Cave move you pulled this morning (which we fully endorse), but keeps you on that workout regimen and all the while supporting some fantastic local Boulder businesses.
Check, check, aaaaaaand CHECK.
PS: You’ll definitely want to tune into tomorrow’s post. We’ve got everything you need to know about the Boulder International Film Festival (which begins tomorrow) and rumor has it that we might be giving away 3 pairs of tickets to some lucky Your Boulder readers! Thanks to BIFF for reaching out to us and giving our readers this awesome surprise. See you tomorrow!
