Run (or walk) to Louisville for the Pearl Izumi/Upslope Fun Run Today

Our neighbors over in Louisville have got it goin’ on more than Stacey’s Mom. If you miss the reference, hit up Google. With their quaint downtown and easy access to all that is the Boulder Valley outdoors, Louisville’s a fine destination for Boulderites to escape juuuuuuust outside the bubble AND get your brew on at the same time. Well, today — head on down to the Pearl Izumi Fun Run, starting at 6PM at the Por Wine House with bonus brews from Upslope.

While a bit tame by Boulder fitness standards, this 3.141 mile fun run/walk is a great way to rationalize that beer you’re going to drink once you cross the finish line. Cue the happiness you’ll see on your FitBit/Garmin display as you grab your FREE first beer from Upslope as you wait for your friends (who finished behind you, natch), enjoying a brisk Colorado winter evening. Once you’re done with that complimentary brew, runners and walkers will enjoy happy hour pricing from Por all evening long.

Which is why I’m adding a “designated driver” plug riiiiiight here because if you’ve ever tried to get a taxi in in the Boulder/Louisville area, yeah. That.

Por Wine House is located at 836 Main Street in Louisville. Walkers are encouraged to get there early and start by 5:30PM so they can finish with the runners.
