Whatever your motivation for seeking a meal out this Thanksgiving, there are plenty of Boulder restaurants ready to seat you, feed you, and tend to the cleaning up. This way, you and those you love can focus on catching up, filling up, and strategically planning that tryptophan nap.

Here’s a list of Boulder restaurants ready to feed your need — and be sure to call about reservations. Many of these destinations are long-time Boulder favorites and fill up fast!

Chautauqua Dining Hall

It’s hard to imagine a more picturesque dining room to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal in, with the welcoming Flatirons in the background and the rustic decor of the dining hall. Chautauqua will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The menu is an elegant twist on popular Thanksgiving dishes. The Chautauqua Dining Hall is also accepting to-go orders from their bakery which is filled with the sweet smells of the perfect pies for your Thanksgiving table.

Colterra

Chef Bradford Heap will welcome guests into his Niwot restaurant this Thanksgiving from 2 to 7 p.m. The menu is a three course menu with a lovely selection of soups and starters, entrees made with locally sourced ingredients, and decadent desserts. This Thanksgiving Feast is $65 per person.

Corner Bar

The Corner Bar in downtown Boulder will be open for brunch from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. With an extensive bar menu, this is the perfect spot to snag an adult beverage before all of the family time.

Hotel Boulderado

It’s hard to think of the holiday season without thinking of the Hotel Boulderado. This Boulder institution goes all out every year, draping beautiful and sparkly Christmas decorations through the hotel and opening their doors each year to host hundreds of guests for a traditional Thanksgiving feast. This spectacular meal is served buffet style for $52 for adults with discounted pricing for seniors and children.

Jill’s Restaurant at the St. Julien 

Jill’s has such a popular Thanksgiving day buffet each year, that reservations are no longer available. But the bar is open and serving happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. and local musician, Kort McCumber, is scheduled to play from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Kasa Japanese Grill

Kasa is the perfect place to spend this Thanksgiving if you’re a Boulder transplant that has already indulged in a hearty Practice Thanksgiving and/or a filling Friendsgiving. Kasa will be operating under regular hours.

L’atelier

L’atelier will once again offer a special Thanksgiving menu this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. The menu features mouth-watering dishes like Rack of Lamb Dijonaise and pan seared scallops, along with a traditional turkey dinner with all of the traditional turkey trimmings.

Murphy’s

Murphy’s restaurants are longtime favorites among diners in Boulder. Murphy’s now boasts three locations in Boulder County, and all three will be open on Thanksgiving and serving traditional Thanksgiving meals with all of the fixings and holiday desserts to cap of an excellent meal.

Spruce Farm & Fish 

Like Spruce’s sister restaurant, Corner Bar, Spruce Farm & Fish will also be operating under holiday hours this Thanksgiving. Stop in for brunch from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner from 2 to 8 p.m.

Peaceful Valley Resort

What’s better than spending Thanksgiving in the snowy mountains just outside of Boulder? In a longstanding traditional, Peaceful Valley Resort will be open this Thursday and serving a traditional buffet. Reservations are being accepted for 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Pricing for adults is $29.95 and pricing for kids 12 & under is $15.95.

Ted’s Montana Grill

Looking to dine on something other than turkey this year? Ted’s Montana Grill is the spot for you if you prefer beef instead of poultry this Thanksgiving. Ted’s has put together a special menu for the day which includes everything from burgers to a roast turkey feast.

The Greenbriar Inn

The Greenbriar Inn is another charming and legendary dining landmark in the area that offers dining service on Thanksgiving. The Greenbriar will be serving a special Thanksgiving menu on Wednesday, November 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 am. to 7 p.m.
