A Bit Lovely

Nancy Clarissa Updike works to bring refinement and a touch of contemporary elegance to clients with colour consulting, styling and interior design services.

A Bit Lovely began as a fashion blog in 2008 when Nancy was a contributor for New York designer Natalia Allen, and in 2015 grew into a boutique design business based in Boulder, Colorado. Nancy worked in art, fashion and design for a decade while studying at Parsons New School of Design and Rhode Island School of Design. After taking courses in colour theory, fashion, sketching, art history and design and traveling the world Nancy saw how art and design can change the people live.

Nancy has worked as an art consultant in Contemporary Art on Rodeo Drive, in fashion at Angeleno Magazine, as a gallery manager for Mid-Century American Art in Newport, as a Brand Manager for Jessica Hagen Fine Art, as a fashion stylist at MAX Clothing in Boulder, a fashion blogger for Natalia Allen Designs in NYC, and as an Interior Designer at COMINA and for private clients.

Nancy is known for her dedication to quality, love of beautiful things and classic design sensibility. She draws inspiration from her time living and traveling in Los Angeles, Spain, Rhode Island, Maine, New York, France, London, Italy, Kenya, Tanzania and Harbour Island. Creating lovely living for every lifestyle is her goal.

Nancy currently lives in Boulder with her son, husband and two dogs.
