Living in Boulder, you’ll want to keep an eye on all of the live music events that tour through town. For that, The Fox Theatre is a must-add to your list.
Situated over by the University of Colorado – Boulder campus on The Hill, The Fox Theatre hosts a wide range of performances throughout the year. Most shows are general admission (read: no seating, standing room only), so be sure to wear your comfortable shoes as you’ll be on your feet for awhile!
All Ages Shows
Since The Fox is located so close to the CU campus, it frequently hosts all-ages shows to accommodate the student population in Boulder. If you’re ever curious about whether a show you’re interested in is all ages, just pop over to the home page and the current upcoming show along with the future calendar will be posted, including whether the show is 21+ or all ages.
Parking for The Fox Theatre
Welcome to The Hill in Boulder – we’re not going to lie, parking can be kind of a pain. There is a city lot directly across the street, but it’s small. Your best bet is to try and score curbside parking somewhere in The Hill. You can also take the bus and save yourself the parking headache. As with most places in Boulder, be conscious of parking signs and meter times – Parking Enforcement has no qualms about ticketing you and you can find that your parking ticket costs more than the concert as most shows at The Fox are very affordable to attend.
A Note About Ticket Policies
Love paying service charges? Yeah, neither do we. Here’s the scoop on service charges right from the box office at The Fox.

Less expensive: buying your tickets over the phone or in person at the box office any day prior to the show date.
